28.05.2025: Update of customer solutions on older versions of Didac
A new feature update of Didac is planned to be available for new and existing customers from July 2025. The update will be rolled out outside of working hours, and is usually completed within a few minutes. In this context, minor instability may occur.

10.09.2024 Partial service disruption, 00:20-08:05
There was a partial service disruption on learn.didac.no during the period 00:20-08:05, due to an unexpected stop on one of the main servers. Traffic to the other servers was handled and processed as normal. All services were back to normal operation as of 10.09.2024 08:10. The interruption was caused by an unexpected network connection failure between the storage service and operational servers, which occurred during planned maintenance on the infrastructure at the service provider. Work has been initiated to establish necessary measures to prevent similar future incidents.

**02.02.2024 Errors in Chrome/Edge 121 affect certificate printing**
In connection with updating the Chrome browser to version 121, the built-in plugin used by Chrome to display PDF documents has stopped displaying inserted fields. This affects certificate printing in version 121 of Chrome or Edge, which is based on PDF documents stored in formats other than PDF/A.

**10.01.2024 Updated solutions**
In relation to interruptions associated with the drawing of the standard font (see the case below), an update has been rolled out to all customers to address this. The update was distributed on the night of 09.01 and 10.01. As with planned updates, it may take some time before the browser registers the change, and therefore loads the old version. If you experience that the content of your solution is not updated or experience errors or missing functionality, this can usually be resolved by forcing the browser to load the updated version. See a separate article on how this can be resolved here.

**04.01.2024: Deviation in the rendering of the standard font**
In connection with our font supplier changing the location of their storage (servers), an unfortunate interruption and partial loss in the delivery of the standard font (Helvetica) used in Didac trainer have occurred. In the event of an interruption, the font is automatically replaced by another font (Arial), which has a slightly different layout than the standard font. This can lead to text content shifting, as there is some variation in size between the replacement font and the standard font. A new technical solution is already available and is being rolled out continuously.
