Create and Maintain Courses, Learning Activities, and Programs
Micro Courses: Easily create responsive micro courses that are perfect for mobile but also work well on larger screens. Insert and use a wide range of pre-made exercises, such as carousels, dialogues, explore image, audio, video, questions, and more. Get help producing text, images, and audio/dialogue with the use of artificial intelligence (AI).
Online Courses: Create custom online courses for larger screens, where you have full control over placement, design, effects, and interactivity. Use all types of media, such as images, video, audio, or even embedded content from other sources/websites. Combine screen views into lessons and build the course structure you want yourself. Use built-in navigation or create your own. Get help producing text, images, and audio/dialogue with the use of artificial intelligence (AI).
Test: Create short tests or more complex exams. Choose between multiple-choice or single-answer questions. The test can consist of a fixed number of questions or randomly draw a number from a question bank within one or more topics.
Surveys: Create surveys and run them anonymously or with full tracking. Use single-answer, multiple-choice, scaled, or text-based answers.
External Online Courses/Content: Import courses produced in other tools with one click (SCORM, xAPI), or link resources on other websites via xAPI/CMI5/AICC or custom webhooks (EcoOnline/Munio).
Classroom Courses: Offer and follow up on instructor-led training in classroom courses or via Teams, Meet, etc. Link different course dates and locations to the same course and let users sign up for the date that suits them best. Add one or more custom fields upon registration so you have everything ready for when the participants show up. Set up separate waiting list dates for people to register interest if other dates are fully booked. Send automated messages and reminders to participants and instructors as the course date approaches.
Checklist: Perform a checklist on manual processes and routines at the workplace. Allow an employee to carry out the process under the supervision of a manager or coordinator and set up a multi-step approval process. Require necessary documentation from both the employee and the manager.
Written Assignment: Submission and follow-up of written assignments. Set up one or more graders who can distribute the grading and follow-up among themselves. A separate dialogue function is available between the candidate and the grader.
Program: Create a learning path consisting of one or more of the above activities. Put together short programs, such as an online course and an associated test, or create larger learning paths like new employee programs, leadership programs, etc. Add one or more coordinators and create participant rooms with an overview of participants and a separate dialogue function.
Automatic Translation: Courses and activities produced in Didac can be easily translated into other languages using the built-in translation function.
Planning and Distribution
Target Group Management: Set up and maintain target groups so that the right training is made available to the right people. Target groups can be customized based on organizational affiliation, job type, title, which courses the employee has completed previously, when they were hired, and more.
Training Catalog: Let employees search for the training and activities they wish to participate in. Customize the catalog using target group management so that employees only see training that is relevant to them. Add your own catalog descriptions, images, and link to extra documentation if necessary. Require approval from a manager if needed. Organize the catalog using content tags and keywords.
Assignments: Assign tasks to the correct target group with fixed or dynamic deadlines. Send one or more reminders to the employee and, if applicable, their manager before the deadline expires. Administrators can define tasks for all or parts of the organization, and group leaders can define tasks for their own employees.
Certification/Recurring Training: Set up certifications for relevant target groups, consisting of one or more requirements or topics. Link one or more activities and programs that fulfill the requirements. Different topics can have different expiration dates, so you can have a requirement with a long expiration period linked to another requirement that must be renewed, for example, every year. Send one or more reminders to the employee and, if applicable, their manager before the certification expires.
Achievements: Set up achievements to increase motivation and spark a competitive spirit. Give achievement points to those who complete one or more activities first, those who submit reviews, are most active on the learning platform, or have collected the most points. Set up a leaderboard that can be filtered by organizational affiliation, time, or both.
Competence Profiles: Create competence profiles that employees can fulfill completely or partially by completing various activities or with relevant experience. Differently evaluate the value of activities or experience based on points, so that, for example, recently completed training gives a higher score than a similar training completed some time ago.
Messages, Reminders, and Communication Functions
Reminders: Set up automatic reminders in advance of deadlines for mandatory training and certifications, or before classroom courses. Reminders can be sent via email or SMS. SMS is billed separately based on usage.
Messaging Plans: Set up one or more messaging plans to more easily follow up on a specific target group, a program, or to regularly remind people about relevant news and training initiatives. Plans can be activated for as many target groups as needed and for as long as you wish.
Direct Sending: Send messages directly from reports—send a message only to those who have not completed, or those who have not started, only to those who have not completed and whose deadline has expired, or also to the entire target group.
Conversation/Discussion: Let employees participate in conversations/discussions related to organizational affiliation (e.g., department, position, etc.), specific programs, or written assignments. Employees can subscribe to notifications for updates in conversations they are a part of. Administrators and managers can choose whether the conversation function should be made available for the groups and programs they are responsible for.
Confirmations: Set up and send automatic confirmations to the employee, manager, and coordinator upon registration and general follow-up for classroom courses, checklists, and written assignments.
Welcome Message: Set up an automatic sending of a customized welcome message when a new user is registered in the system.
Daily Follow-up and Administration
Classroom Course Follow-up: Approve or reject registrations for course dates that require approval. Manually register individual participants or groups of participants, or import lists of participants from an external file (CSV, Excel). Approve or reject participation on a course date. Send a standard or customized confirmation to the participant upon participation or registration. A link to the overview and details is automatically included.
Catalog Request Follow-up: Approve or reject requests from employees to participate in activities or programs if this has been set up in the catalog.
Written Assignment Follow-up: Follow up on written assignments from participants. Distribute grading responsibility among different coordinators. Set up a conversation function with the participant. Send the assignment back to the participant if they need to do more work. Give grades, approve, or fail the assignment.
Checklist Follow-up: Approve or reject checklists/manual processes from participants. Evaluate submitted documentation and add documentation upon approval.
Follow-up on Content Suggestions from Participants: Participants/employees can upload documents, resources, content, or links to content they think is good and should be included in the learning platform. Upon approval of the suggested content, it can be automatically converted into a learning activity that can then be distributed to others/target groups.
Reporting and Statistics
Pre-made Reports: Generate pre-made reports for all types of content, assignments, certifications, and activities. Sort and filter by groups, names, progress, and more.
Export: Export results to Excel or CSV for further processing.
Groups and Participants: Get status and an overview for organizational units, groups of participants, or individual participants.
Custom Reports: Set up custom reports that show results for one or more activities for a defined target group. Share the report and make it available in other channels, such as websites, internal web solutions, social media, or even email.
Key Figures Reports: A general overview of activity within the solution.
